The New Project
That's right! A new project!
It is called the Sled-o-Rama project 2
Project 2 is our Spring/Summer project, an off-road vehicle made entirely out of scrap. I hope to spend very little money on this project (not because I'm cheep, but, because I'm poor). And we already have a couple of pics of project 2 in it's infancy.
We have an old lawn-mower so we tear the hell out of it!
I think we have the engine out it's an 8 hp Briggs & Straton, vertical shaft engine. We aren't using it. we have another engine. (horizontal shaft)

This is the steering thing. As you can tell we are excited.
Here is the other steering thing.
That's the progress of today. We have most of the needed parts except for the frame and one wheel. One of the rear wheel off of the lawn-mower was quite stubburn. But I have a full proof plan to get it off without doing much work :)
More on that tomorrow.

I had a "unique" plan to get that wheel off.
Yep, I chained the damn thing up to the quad and the other end to a tree.
And it didn't work...
So we tried the "old" way.
No, we didn't get the wheel off.
We'll try again tomorrow...

Ok, well it's tomorrow and we have about two inches
of snow on the ground so we did no work what-so-ever
See??
After our Spring Break lazy ass do no work period we, well, did some work!
As you can see we got that wheel off.
The fun way.
And then decided to vent some pent up frustration.
I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!
And hate you...
Mmmmm, chicken-ee...
Smite it...
After all that smiting we quit working. More updates in the near, not too distant future...kinda...
